An hour that belongs to the child, with something to do with their hands
For children 7 to 10 who do better drawing, building or playing a game than answering questions.
Carmen mixes play, art and talking. A child might draw a family, play a card game about feelings or build something while they talk. The pace is the child's, and Carmen explains what stays private in words a child can follow.

Three questions about this service
Will the visit feel like school?
No. There is no homework in the room and no right answers. A child can draw, play or talk, in any order.
What do you tell me afterward?
A short update on what the child worked on in general terms, and one thing you might try at home. Carmen explains first what she will and will not share.
Can sessions be after school?
Some late-afternoon times are held for after school, Monday to Thursday. Ask when you call.
